Time to change your mind

Few days back I was at Lalitpur railway station to catch a train Punjab Mail for Bhopal. According to enquiry board it was about to come at platform no. 1. Everyone who want to ride in this train were waiting at platform no. 1. After some time there was an announcement of change in platform from no. 1 to no. 2 for this train. Everyone start to run from platform no. 1 to platform no. 2. I noticed hardly 20% persons were using foot over bridge. Rest all were crossing railway tracks. Most of them were looking well-dressed literate people. Suddenly another train crossed from platform no. 2 at its full speed and a family was crossing railway tracks. Only a lady left on the track and train was almost 100 meter away from her. Other family member pulled her up immediately and train passed that track just after her. She just survive by inches. I also heard a person who was saying this is a mistake who is announcing and they should also announce that another train is crossing.

Yes of course they should announce “please cross the railway tracks as fast as you can because another train is coming”. This will be inside that person’s mind. Means you are not even accepting your mistake and also blaming others for that. What a responsible citizen he was. He should get hats off from everyone.

Whenever there is an announcement for changing of platform, they clearly announce “please use foot over bridge.” But most of you don’t care. Because everyone think they are showing smartness by not using foot over bridge. We demanded a foot over bridge and railway provided us a brand new bridge. But what is the use of it if we want to cross railway tracks. When this bridge was not there everyone was cursing railway government but when it is there then it is too long to cross. If you are ignoring that announcement why you are getting education. You should use foot over bridge and other who are not using aware them and asked them to use. It is your duty if you want to see great Indian nation. Otherwise someday you will not be there to pull your love one’s hand. Now choice is yours. Be a responsible citizen of India.
