How many of you ever refused to take plastic bags?

The plastic bag which you are using today is going to take more than 1000 years to decompose. It is not biodegradable. These are photo-degradable, means a polythene decompose in sun light. But this is a very slow process. If you assume our average age is 80 years then your 13^th generation will see what type of gift you left for them 1000 years before.

Start saying "No" to plastic bag. For that only you have to carry your own paper or cloth bag. It will not even reduce uses of plastic bag, it will also reduce those poisonous contents to get into your body which these plastic bag contains. Plastic can only be clean by boiling in water, which is not possible with plastic bags.

Every day I saw people carrying their vegetables and fruits in these plastic bags. And these shopkeepers never care for giving them plastic bag. Many times I refused to take plastic bag. I did not refuse to take plastic bags to them I am concern about environment I am refusing because I do not want to give my 13^th generation these type of gifts.

You can start encouraging your shopkeeper just saying “no” to plastic bag. So next time show them your own cloth bag and realize them you are the change.

Time to change your mind

Few days back I was at Lalitpur railway station to catch a train Punjab Mail for Bhopal. According to enquiry board it was about to come at platform no. 1. Everyone who want to ride in this train were waiting at platform no. 1. After some time there was an announcement of change in platform from no. 1 to no. 2 for this train. Everyone start to run from platform no. 1 to platform no. 2. I noticed hardly 20% persons were using foot over bridge. Rest all were crossing railway tracks. Most of them were looking well-dressed literate people. Suddenly another train crossed from platform no. 2 at its full speed and a family was crossing railway tracks. Only a lady left on the track and train was almost 100 meter away from her. Other family member pulled her up immediately and train passed that track just after her. She just survive by inches. I also heard a person who was saying this is a mistake who is announcing and they should also announce that another train is crossing.

Yes of course they should announce “please cross the railway tracks as fast as you can because another train is coming”. This will be inside that person’s mind. Means you are not even accepting your mistake and also blaming others for that. What a responsible citizen he was. He should get hats off from everyone.

Whenever there is an announcement for changing of platform, they clearly announce “please use foot over bridge.” But most of you don’t care. Because everyone think they are showing smartness by not using foot over bridge. We demanded a foot over bridge and railway provided us a brand new bridge. But what is the use of it if we want to cross railway tracks. When this bridge was not there everyone was cursing railway government but when it is there then it is too long to cross. If you are ignoring that announcement why you are getting education. You should use foot over bridge and other who are not using aware them and asked them to use. It is your duty if you want to see great Indian nation. Otherwise someday you will not be there to pull your love one’s hand. Now choice is yours. Be a responsible citizen of India.

Hi guys,

I want to start from city named Lalitpur. I want everyone from Lalitpur to be a part of this movement and develope their city. Now you all will think why me. Because if you will start other will follow. Its your choice you want to follow or lead.

So guys you can start from your own place. I always notice here mostly no one want to keep clean their place. They want to keep their home clean and tidy but never care for roads and public places. They feel proud to spit pan or gutkha anywhere. Have you ever imagine, it is your own money which is being used in that cleaning or whatever public properties you are breaking. You guys always comment why our government raising tax everywhere? Why there is so much hike in railway fair. They actually want to make every place clean and want to repair broken public properties which you are destroying. So guys it is your responsibility... do not make dirty places. do not break any public properties, like atm doors, hand pumps etc.

It is good if you do not have any of these habits. But I request you do not allow other to do these mischievous deed. You are independent but it does not mean you are free to spit pan at any place. Do something good so you can face your own eyes into the mirror and could say proudly, that you did it for india. Only putting an Indian flag in your facebook profile is not going to show your patriotism. You should be responsible citizen.

I know that I will face criticism. I will get comments that why am I bothering about this city. Actually I am not bothering about this city but I am bothering about our nation. If this blog will realize at least 5 persons. I will be happy. I request you to please share your experience by sending your valuable comments.
